SLOW STITCHING TO EMBELLISH CLOTHING

Many people find hand stitching meditative and a unique way to create art. Learn ways to make a colorful collage of fabric and stitch this onto a piece of clothing to update your look! In this class we will learn to use simple stitches, such as the running stitch and blanket stitch in entirely new ways. We will be adding many layers of stitches and fabric to make unique art. You will learn how to add colorful patches to a jeans jacket or how to remake a sweatshirt into an original one-of-a-kind jacket.
