Helena Reckitt is a curator, writer and lecturer with a longstanding interest in legacies of queer and feminist art, theory and collectivity. She has held curatorial and programming roles at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, Georgia, the Power Plant, Toronto, and the ICA, London. Currently she teaches on the MFA Curating programme at Goldsmiths, University of London. Also at Goldsmiths she is a student on the Creative & Life Writing MA where she is cannibalizing aspects of her life to develop forms of autofiction. Since 2015 Reckitt has coordinated a monthly Feminist Duration Reading Group, which meets for an out-loud reading session to explore feminisms that are under-known and under-valued within the Anglo-American feminist canon. Reckitt recently served as Consultant Editor for The Art of Feminism: The Images that Shaped the Fight for Equality (Tate and Chronicle Books).
