EDUCATIONAL CLASS AND WORKSHOP POLICIES
All classes require advanced enrollment. Full payment of tuition and fees is required to secure a space in the class or to attend. Class spaces are limited based on age, skill level, and techniques taught.
Drop and Refund Policy – To drop a class, students must notify Salina Art Center. Refunds are given up to 24 hours before the class. All refunds are assessed a $20 processing fee, withheld from the refund. Credit toward a future class can be given in place of a refund at the request of the student. No refund will be given after the class/workshop has begun.
Class Cancellation – If a class is canceled due to illness or inclement weather, every effort is made to schedule a makeup session. A full refund will be issued if the Art Center cancels a class due to insufficient enrollment. Please allow two weeks to receive your refund.
Scholarships - The Salina Art Center Scholarship Fund provides any student with financial need the opportunity to participate in art classes. A limited number of scholarships are available for each class and workshop. Decisions to award scholarships are made quarterly by the Board of Trustees. These scholarships are made possible through the City of Salina Parks and Recreation Department and Art Center donors and sponsors' generosity. An application form is available at www.salinaartcenter.org/scholarships.
Supplies – Typically, all supplies for classes are provided at no additional charge. If additional supplies are needed, costs are clearly stated on the registration form.
